Jazz Festival

Welcome once again to Cleethorpes Jazz Festival 2010.

The Festival is moving to a new weekend, new home, with new bands but the same high quality programming. The Memorial Hall has been chosen to host the Festival this year as a larger audience is anticipated and there will be extra room to hold workshops. Located in an ideal position for public transport and access to Cleethorpes Bed and Breakfast establishments (contact Tourist Information on 01472 323111), we are excited about the facilities the Memorial Hall has to offer. Weekend Tickets Now Available and priced at £65.00.

Following on from the musical success of 2009 we once again look forward to presenting an exciting programme at this new venue. It may have its frustrations but it is very exciting and rewarding to see everything coming together as a coherent whole and we hope you will be as thrilled as we are at the wide ranging programme in store for you, contrasting styles of gypsy jazz, modern bebop, and vocalists means there will be something to please every musical taste. If I may be allowed to choose at least one future star it will be Leon Greening with the Matt Wates band, to join the ranks of our other outstanding exponents of jazz piano included in the programme. I am also particularly looking forward to the Liane Carroll performance and workshop, but I am sure there will be many more outstanding performances over the weekend. Enjoy!
